Ocean Suites Motel Policies

Payment and Cancellation Policies:
A valid credit card is required to hold your reservation(s). If paying by cash, a $200 charge is required
on your credit card. The charge will be voided/refunded after your room is cleaned/checked. This
property reserves the right to pre-authorize the guest’s credit card before arrival.

Minimum Stays: A two-night minimum stay is required during holidays and special events.

Avoid Motel cancellation fee: Cancellations must be received by Noon the day before arrival.  A fee equal to one night’s stay will be charged for all nights for all rooms for which the cancellation cut-off has passed. 

All rates are per suite, per night, double occupancy (based on 2 people 12 or older) plus 8.5% lodging taxes. There is a charge of $5.00 per person plus tax per night for each additional person 12 years or older in a suite. Maximum four person age 12 or older and two small children per suite. There is no charge for children under 12 years of age who are staying in the same suite as their parents (suite capacity permitting). Ocean Suites Motel web booking system will automatically calculate the cost of additional persons for you. Additional persons not booked at the time the reservation is made will be charged at check in.

Credit Cards: Visa/MasterCard/Discover. Credit card numbers given at time of reservation will be used to hold your suite.  Payment in full is required at check in and the person paying must be present with their credit card and drivers license.

Smoking and Pet Policy: Smoking/vaping of any substance is prohibited in every suite at Ocean Suites Motel. Pets are prohibited in the suite or anywhere on the property including in vehicles.  A $200 fine will be charged on the credit card you presented at check in for violation of these policies. We do our very best to accommodate guests with pet and smoke allergies and hope that all guests will respect our non-smoking, pet-free policy.

About Oregon’s Marijuana Law: Smoking/vaping of this substance in the room is prohibited and is it illegal to smoke or vape marijuana (for medical, recreational or any reason) outside your room, in your vehicle or anywhere on Ocean Suites Motel property. Guests who violate the law will be asked to leave immediately, without a refund. A fine of $200 will be imposed if the room must be taken out of service due to smoke or marijuana odor regardless of whether the odor is from smoking/storing the item/product in the room or carrying it in on your person. 

Service animal: If a service animal is permitted, it shall be a guide dog, signal dog, or other animal individually trained to provide assistance to an individual guest with a disability (as per ADA guidelines).

Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi) – Available FREE throughout the property.

Information handouts: Local menus, maps for hiking trails and the Redwoods along with fishing and interesting activities in the area are available at the Office.

Courtesy Policy: At Ocean Suites Motel, we are more then just a place to stay. We are all neighbors! We want you to have a pleasant stay and have a list of courtesies to make our apartment suites a quiet, comfortable “home away from home.”

• All guests and their vehicles must be registered at the Office.
• Smoking/vaping of any substance is strictly prohibited in all Suites. Please see Smoking and Pet Policy and About Oregon’s Marijuana Law regarding fines for policy violations.
• Pets are prohibited in the suite and anywhere on Ocean Suites Motel property including in vehicles.
• No noise or loud music is allowed after 10:00 p.m.
• No cooking of crab or storing of fish or bait in the refrigerator or freezer.
• Alcohol is not allowed outside guest suites.

Violation or suspected violation of any state or federal laws anywhere on the property will be reported to the authorities.

Guests who violate these courtesies will be asked to leave immediately. No refunds will be given.

Other Information

• Ocean Suites Motel does not have an elevator.  If you are unable to take stairs to the 2nd floor, please notify the office at the time of booking to ensure a 1st floor unit is available.
• This property’s policy is to accept bookings only from non-local guests. If it is determined that any guests staying in the suite reside within 60 miles of the property, the group will not be allowed to check in. 

Notice to guests: Ocean Suites Motel is privately owned. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
